The 493cc single-cylinder engine gives 32.6 horsepower and 3.2 kg.m torque, delivering the necessary performance for LH500ATV-D to easily go through any terrain. This is also due to the possibility to chose for the drive to be carried on either two or four wheels, whenever the rider wishes, through a switch on the controls. The absence of the clutch actively contributes to the ease of driving, while the centrifugal transmission is short and long (L/H) as well as reverse (R) with good scaling, thus the optimum torque based on the conditions is always achieved. LH500ATV-D is available in four colors: red, blue, white and green.
